After over a decade of facilitating student, teacher, and adult learning as a literacy teacher, adjunct professor, teacher coach, and diversity, equity, and inclusion specialist, I am currently a full-time doctoral candidate in the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennslyvania. I am in the Reading, Writing, and Literacy program, and I am a practitioner-researcher involved in the practice of education in schools, school districts, colleges and universities, government agencies, foundations, entrepreneurial ventures, and consulting organizations.

I am also a dreamer, lover, and poet. I am a huge reader, and I love giving back to my community. I am a passionate, present, and courageous woman. It's my vision to create worlds of love, transformation, and impact through literacy (in the most expansive notion). I am a leader with a servant's heart, and I love serving alongside my communities in pursuit of a more just world.
